Volunteering with Unsilenced

Unsilenced is building something, and we’re looking for people who want to build it with us. We’re launching our volunteer program for the first time soon, which means the people who show up now get to help shape what it becomes. Whether you’re a survivor who wants to turn your experience into action, a professional with skills to contribute, or someone who simply believes no child should be harmed in the name of treatment, your involvement at this stage matters more than you might think. This page answers the questions we hear most often from people who are ready to get involved, from what the commitment actually looks like to how your work connects to real change in policy, in courtrooms, and in the lives of survivors.

If you’re looking for something more specific, we also have dedicated FAQ pages covering the Troubled Teen Industry itself, Unsilenced as an organization, and partnerships. Each one is built to answer the questions we hear most in those areas.
