RAISE Initiative

The RAISE (Raising Awareness through Independent Survivor Education) Initiative empowers survivors to educate their local communities about the Troubled Teen Industry (TTI) through independently hosted awareness and fundraising events.

Using resources and guidance provided by Unsilenced, approved hosts can organize events that raise awareness, inspire action, and help support our mission to end institutional child abuse.

Whether you’re speaking to a classroom, community group, faith organization, or local advocacy group, RAISE provides the tools you need to share your story and make an impact.

How It Works

Approved RAISE Hosts organize and lead their own community events while Unsilenced provides educational resources, event guidance, and promotional support.

Events will combine three key elements:

Educate
Introduce attendees to the TTI using Unsilenced educational materials.

Amplify
Share your lived experience and help others understand the lasting impact of institutional abuse.

Engage
Invite your community to take action through discussion, advocacy, fundraising, or other community-building activities.
