I was sent states away from my home in Virginia to this facility. As a non-verbal student with Apraxia and Aphasia, I was linguistically isolated. Despite being a Deaf-based program, they refused to accommodate my specific communication needs, relying exclusively on ASL which I did not understand.

They deprived me of my “voice” by limiting my computer/written communication access to one hour a day. I was housed in a building with a dangerous age range (7–22), leading to systemic physical and sexual abuse. I was targeted because my communication barriers made it nearly impossible to report the hellscape conditions. I am sharing this to ensure this facility is held accountable for its systemic failure to protect and educate disabled students.

I want to clarify the role of parental neglect in my case. My biological mother intentionally blocked medical intervention and mental health support from age 8-18, despite my father’s efforts. This medical neglect created the ‘crisis’ used to justify my 6-year internment at Walden. She currently portrays herself as a social justice advocate; I am documenting this to ensure the full truth of her involvement and my late diagnosis (age 24) is on record.

She also allowed her toxic, shady boyfriends around me and even lied about who my biological dad was until I forced it out of her after testing with 23andme at age 24 because she had me with some random hillbilly man who died a year after informing me about her true nature post-DNA test. The man raising me isn’t my biological father but he sure did his role very well. And her name is Melissa Aguilar Ingram (that’s her maiden surname because she always changed up her surname, one I knew of was O’Doyle) and I very much want everyone to stop trusting her like she’s some ’empathetic saint’.

She put me through hell since birth before Walden School did it and I want to see her suffer social and professional collapse for what she put me through.
